New Born Intensive Care Unit

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides the necessary support to all babies in need of intensive care. In the light of up-to-date information, it brings babies to their families in a short time with its modern medical equipment, and provides necessary resources for informing and educating families.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides advanced care for babies with high risk such as preterm birth, multiple pregnancy, diabetes mothers baby, large baby, meconium swallowed baby in the womb, brain and other organ damage resulting from difficult birth. Offering all the necessary medical and surgical services to patients younger Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the hospital as well as in Turkey and neighboring countries to provide intensive care to hear all newborn babies to health services. For this purpose, services are provided in cooperation with air and ground ambulance systems.

Ada Hospital

In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; respiratory support (ventilator therapy), blood exchange, phototherapy (light therapy), percutaneous catheter applications (thin vein that extends from the thin veins in the arm and leg to the heart), total parenteral nutrition (complete vein feeding), thorax tube insertion ( lung air leakage treatment), bedside EEG (brain electrode), bedside ECO (Heart ultrasound), bedside USG (ultrasound for the evaluation of the brain and other internal organs), retinopathy examination (eye examinations of preterm babies) are also performed. Our unit receives 24 hours support from Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Metabolism and Endocrinology when necessary.
