Childhood and adolescence is the period in which the most change and development in human life. Changes and developments in this period affect not only the current period, but also the whole life.

Today, the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a science that expands rapidly, its scope, requirements and social effectiveness all over the world and in our country, and interacts directly with all branches of biological, psychological and sociological aspects in social and individual terms.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the European Medical Experts Association has been defined as “prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental health problems with medical methods, standards and approaches in children under 18 years of age”.

In our Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Diseases Department, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, drug therapy and psychometric evaluations are applied to children and adolescents aged 0-18.

If there is an emotional or behavioral symptom that can negatively affect your child's daily life, spiritual and physical development, school success and relationships with other people between the ages of 0-18, you can contact the Child Psychiatrist.

In addition, attention, development and intelligence tests are performed in our unit by the psychologist. Tests applied in our department:

AGTE, Denver 2 Development Test, Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, Bender-Gestalt Visual Motor Perception Test, Porteus Maze Test, OKHT (School Readiness Test), City EGY Test are applied.
